During the month of September 2009 we will be collecting items for women and children for Abby House. Drop off any NEW packaged item(s) from the following list and your name will be entered into a special raffle for a $20.00 gift certificate to Mrs. Mack's Bakery. Please note that we will NOT accept items unless they are included on this list. The raffle winner will be drawn on September 30th, 2009.
Abby's House is a multi-service, non-profit organization in Worcester, Massachusetts that serves homeless and battered women and children. Founded in 1976 by a group of activists led by Annette Rafferty, Abby's House has helped thousands of women and children make their way out of the chaos of homelessness.
